who should take engineering

After studying for 2 years in engineering , Now I better understand why my friends took engineeing.

Most or say all came here just because their all other "intelligent" friends had opted so.Not only friends but everyone since generations have been seen doing so.
Quite true that engineering fits for intelligent student but its not the complete truth.

Engineering is for those who love to experiment and analyze with the things around them.

In engineering colleges in INDIA, a sad story prevails. Most of the 'muggers' are studying engg. who have no SPIRIT for engineering and they always complain of things which engg. has nothing to do with
while people with engineering temprament sit in some odd colleges because they were owerthrown by these 'muggers' in terms of rank,It sealed out their chances of getting in some nice colleges which fits their temprament.

So 2 advice for u (if you are preparing for engg. entrance exams)
1) If you have the engineering temprament then work hard to reserve your seat in some good IIT or NIT. Importantly don't lose the enthusiasm in the corse of your preparation

2) IF you don't have this engg. temprament then look for some other good careers to save yourself from the pain of blaming college.
